The Cooper Casablanca, stylish, fast, reliable

8 Speed Commuter

The Cooper Casablanca is the commuter bike ready for long miles.  Named after the Casablanca Race Circuit in Morocco where Cooper's F1 cars raced in 1959.

The Cooper Car Company was known for modern technology and development, creating the 'Rear engine revolution'.

The same is true for the Cooper Casablanca models, being the first  Cooper bikes to use disc brakes for the best all-weather stopping. The Casablanca model has the disc brake mounted inside the rear stays allowing for full length standard fit mud guards and optional racks to be fitted. The Casablanca keeps all the clean lines of our other models, but has eight internal gears and disc brakes. The Casablanca frame combines the relaxed geometry angles and easy handling characteristics of urban cross and touring bikes.

The frame is compact for an upright ride and has a sloping top tube for comfort of getting on and off. The fork has been matched to this frame with a longer rake, resulting in stability and manoeuvrability. This bike handles long miles, large loads and the commute home at the end of a long day. With flat bars, hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano 8-speed alfine transmission, the Casablanca is ready for both the commuter and occasional tourer. The Walker Blue colour match perfectly with the polished components. The Steel Reynolds 520 frame (double butted) gives a strong yet comfortable ride. Brooks Swallow saddle add character and personality with each ride. As with all our bikes, our headbadge sets off the bike’s high-quality finish. If you want a stylish, low-maintenance bike that will carry on during the worst weather conditions, do it in style with a Cooper bike.
