Interview with Alison Lloyd from Ally Capellino on Cycle Love 

Since launching as a fashion label in 1980 and restructuring as an accessories company in 1999, Ally Capellino have been producing a growing family of elegantly crafted but highly functional bags from their London studio.

On a windy but sun-dappled January day last month, I headed to Calvert Avenue in Shoreditch to meet Alison Lloyd, the designer behind the brand, and explore her relationship with the worlds of fashion and bikes.

High street store H&M have teamed up with Brick Lane Bikes in London for a Spring/Summer 2013 Men's range of clothing, combining the function of cycling wear for both on and off the bike. The collection will be a fixie inspired range made from tough, sustainable materials (unlike the usual H&M clothing you can buy).
